This Privacy Policy explains how Grit Studios Oy ("Grit Studios", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Pouchless mobile app ("Pouchless", the "App"). Pouchless is a tool that helps you manage cravings and quit nicotine pouches.

You can use Pouchless without creating an account and without giving us your name or email address. When you first open the App, it creates an anonymous user ID for you. This ID is a random identifier that is not linked to your name, email, phone number, or contacts.
A random user ID, used to keep your data separate from other users' data and to store your app record securely.
To keep the App working well, we record technical information each time you open it: the app version and build number, your device platform (iOS or Android), operating system version, device model, language and region settings, time zone, the time you were last active, and how many times you have opened the App. We do not collect your advertising identifier, your IP address for profiling, your precise location, or your contacts.
Pouchless lets you record your use and cravings, such as your craving level, breathing sessions you complete, your pouch cost, and your chosen currency, theme, sound and vibration preferences. This information relates to your health and wellbeing habits. We treat it as sensitive, we use it only to provide the App's features to you, and we do not use it for advertising or share it with advertisers.
Some settings and progress, such as your selected theme, preferences, tutorial progress, and quit-guide progress, are stored locally on your device.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not show advertising in the App and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
We process your data to provide the service you asked for (performance of a contract) and for our legitimate interest in keeping the App secure, working, and improving. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
We use Supabase to host our database and anonymous authentication. Supabase processes your anonymous ID and the data described above on our behalf, in accordance with its own privacy policy and data processing terms. Data may be stored in servers located within the European Union.
The App does not currently include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
We keep your data for as long as the App is in use or as needed to provide the service. Because your record is anonymous, we may not be able to identify which record is yours. To request deletion, contact us at [email protected] and include your user ID (shown in the App's Settings screen if available). We will delete the associated data within 30 days, except where we must keep it for legal reasons. Uninstalling the App removes the data stored on your device.

Pouchless is intended for adults. Nicotine products are age-restricted, and the App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has used the App, contact us and we will delete the data.
Pouchless is a self-help tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and is not a substitute for professional care. If you need support quitting nicotine, consult a healthcare professional.
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls that restrict each user's record to that user. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the "Last updated" date.
